Unicef: State of the worlds children 2008
These statistics have just been published. They are down-loadable. New Zealand sits alongside countries such as Canada, Australia and the UK. Countries that do better than us are Singapore, Iceland, Spain and Germany amongst others.

spain?
oh well. they sure profited from being in the EU.
There were a few surprises in there for me too. Africa Haiti and India are the worst. Poor Africa! and Afghanistan, we in the west have a lot to do with that don't you think. Top prizes go to Andorra, Iceland, Liectenstein, San Marino, singapore, and Sweden, all fairly small and affluent states.
We really do need to do more to support those who are on the bottom of the list.
By the way, the Philipines, (see http://mymidiblog.blogspot.com/2008/01/formula-for-disaster-who-code.html) is ranked 86 in under 5 mortality.
That’s looks so nice your posting.
Everything looks good in your posting.
That will be necessary for all. Thanks for your posting.
