This is Gilly Salmon who is well known for her 5 stage model of online facilitation, mentioned by Sarah Stewart in her posting about online facilitation.
Great to see you back in blogland again Debbie. Are you still in Japan? I am starting to enjoy finding out a bit more about second life. Still feel nervous and a little anxious and unsure of myself there however. As you can see from my postings I do see some possibilities for education and learning however I think my vision of scenarios may be a wee way off yet. I would be interested to know how it goes for you incorporating this into your curriculum, if this is what you do. I will keep an eye on your blog for news.
Welcome to this discussion about midwifery and midwifery education. Please feel free to leave a comment and contribute or just to peruse the contents of this blog. I took the photo at the top at Mossburn recently. I photographed the scene through my sunglass lens, hence the sepia effect. I hope you enjoy checking out the contents of my blog. Come back soon as I am always changing and updating.

Hi Carolyn. These postings on SL are really good - especially the ones that refer to pedagogy.
